Looking to the west there was a good view of the Prince of Wales hotel.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/455ca.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"455ca\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/455ca_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"455ca\" width=\"1004\" height=\"525\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>. . .and there was the Bear Claw lookout point again. I was also admiring the new roadbed. It would rain for the rest of the day, sometimes so hard I had to squint between the top of my sunglasses and the visor on my helmet to see the road. NOT FUN!!\u00a0 It was about here that it started to hail on BillyyB and me. The hail looked like popcorn bouncing off the road shoulder.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/469ca.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"469ca\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/469ca_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"469ca\" width=\"1004\" height=\"382\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wasn\u2019t long before I saw this Border Patrol officers rig who was out patrolling out on horseback. Haven\u2019t seen one on these since our Southern Tier ride along the US\/Mexico border.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/470ca.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"470ca\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/470ca_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"470ca\" width=\"1004\" height=\"747\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We descended out of the mountains on a really sweet downhill that took us into the small burg of Baab. Not much there, but they had a GREAT statue outside one of their schools!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/471ca.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"471ca\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/471ca_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"471ca\" width=\"1004\" height=\"632\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve heard about these FedEx depots along the border. Canadians have parcels sent to these private depots near the border and then drive down to pick up their packages. Evidently delivery time to Canada is dreadfully slow because of Canadian customs. This is one of probably twenty photos they had of various glaciers that have all melted.
