Better with vino! But no! The grounds were beautiful and we bicycled through them in the cool of the morning.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/day19_10.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"day19_10\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/day19_10_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"day19_10\" width=\"1004\" height=\"571\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At all the important cultural and historical sites, workers are sweeping the grounds&#8211;the grass, the dirt, the walkways&#8211; and keeping things very neat.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/day19_11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"day19_11\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/day19_11_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"day19_11\" width=\"1004\" height=\"616\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But sometimes things get out of control and you need something bigger than a broom!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/day19_12.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"day19_12\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/day19_12_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"day19_12\" width=\"1004\" height=\"626\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is a newer style tuk-tuk, enclosed for the driver! There are large, important stupas like this, surrounded by smaller stupas added over time.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/day19_15.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"day19_15\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/day19_15_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"day19_15\" width=\"1004\" height=\"697\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Buddha head in the Bodhi tree: this head was once part of a sandstone sculpture, first created in the mid-1600s, which fell apart over time. The best part are delicious treats of sticky rice or coconut combined with fruits or vegetables.\u00a0 They are usually wrapped in a palm or banana leaf.
