Went to a great Indian restaurant (might be considered heresy in the Land of Barbeque).<\/p>\n Time to leave La Grange and head to our home for tonight, Navasota . . .<\/p>\n . . . but not before a stop at Weikel\u2019s, \u2018Home of the Kolache\u2019! 15 types of filling . . .<\/p>\n I needed to devour two for breakfast. Nice of them to put the \u2018grams of fat consumed\u2019 on the receipt so one knows when to stop eating!!!<\/p>\n . . . so I bought a dozen for the gang. Need to celebrate my Czech\/Polish\/Slavic connection . . .<\/p>\n What a nice little MG dealer we pedaled by on the way out of town . .\u00a0 . . . BEAUTIFUL!!!\u00a0\u00a0 I REALLY liked the chocolates and goodies Smoochie sent me . . . but honey, remember I am only 62 once!!!!<\/p>\n . . . of course, this is not such a big deal in WI . . . \u2018Home of the Cow\u2019!!!<\/p>\n We happened to pass through Warrenton and Round Top where twice a year, for three weeks each time, there is an Antique and \u2018Collectables\u2019 Sale, in each town. Literally, hundreds, maybe thousands of vendors selling everything you really don’t need (at least in my view). Seemed to be as many parking lot signs as vendors in Warrenton. One of the old boys pulled out a wad of money and told us he made more than $440 in parking yesterday. Probably more than some of the vendors’!!!<\/p>\n Stufffffffffffffff . . .<\/p>\n . . . aisle and aisles of stuffffff!!!!<\/p>\n Soon it was kolache time . . .<\/p>\n . . . two of our \u2018babushkas\u2019 enjoying a kolache!!!<\/p>\n Don\u2019t meet a pick up under this bridge . . .<\/p>\n . . . lovely biking today on very quiet roads WITH a tailwind!!!! Nice rollers too!<\/p>\n Here is Holly Oaks, past home of the founder of Baylor University!!!!<\/p>\n Weiss Store was closed . . . so I guess it\u2019s either Gay Hill or San Francisco for a water stop!!!<\/p>\n Very scenic riding, great temps, blue sky and a TAILWIND!!!<\/p>\n Would have been interesting to spend more time here . . . but since we were slowed down by all the antique sale action, we needed to get\u00a0 on to Navasota . . .<\/p>\n . . . which has some nicely restored building’s!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I found a couple of shots I forgot to post the other night from when we were walking around Austin.
