Just a couple flicks of the wrist and it is ready to ride!!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"day6_03\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_03_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"day6_03\" width=\"1004\" height=\"724\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday when we came into the campground, I stopped to see if the seasonal canteen was open. The rain was four or five inches deep along the gutter and unfortunately had covered the curb. This was the point of impact and over I went. Luckily . . .\u00a0 only a mere flesh wound.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"day6_04\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_04_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"day6_04\" width=\"1004\" height=\"677\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We had a 1.5 mile bridge to cross today but first had to cross the up coming traffic to get to our lane. If that didn\u2019t kill ya, the metal grated deck would . . . .<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"day6_05\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_05_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"day6_05\" width=\"1004\" height=\"614\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Nice of\u00a0 WA DOT to cover a five foot swath with another a rubber surface to prevent bikers from falling over on the slick metal, into the path of traffic!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_06.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"day6_06\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_06_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"day6_06\" width=\"1004\" height=\"629\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>. . . we passed the house of many storks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_07.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"day6_07\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_07_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"day6_07\" width=\"1004\" height=\"770\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>. . . oh, there are some rural WA landowners with opinions!!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_08.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"day6_08\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_08_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"day6_08\" width=\"1004\" height=\"628\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There seem to be many military bases in WA, mostly Navy. Here was another base we passed that had BIG jets . . .<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_09.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"day6_09\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_09_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"day6_09\" width=\"1004\" height=\"840\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>. . . and evidently VERY secure boundaries protected by working dogs, no retired fido\u2019s need apply!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_10.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"day6_10\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/day6_10_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"day6_10\" width=\"1004\" height=\"546\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Denise, Jenny and I stopped about 10 miles shy of our campground for a little snack.
