Not quite sure how Hai knew where we were going. A common practice is to bury relatives right out in the rice fields in well tended private little cemeteries.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18062\" src=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/6-05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"572\" srcset=\"https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/6-05.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/6-05-300x172.jpg 300w, https:\/\/travels.wohu.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/6-05-768x439.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Lots of domestic ducks today which are fed during the rice growing season but are released into the fields to &#8216;clean up the scraps&#8217; after the rice is harvested. All very colorful!! YES. Hai made sure the menu included vegetarian items for me and there were always at least two veggie\/tofu dishes, many times served before the rest of the food was delivered.
